As an ART CONSULTANT, I give valuable fine art advice to homeowners, businesses and to more serious collectors. A consultation with a gallery might include discussions on curating, policies and procedures, dealing with artists, and more.

CURATOR - Having been a successful artist myself for 14 years, I have the experience to create themes, find artists and hang effective exhibitions. In addition, I’ve curated and juried several exhibitions for many venues. See resume/biography below.

As a CAREER CONSULTANT/AGENT, my job is to work with artists who want creative feedback or who need help moving their careers forward. Having successfully marketed my work for many years, I can teach artists how to network and approach galleries. I give advice on creating effective websites, writing press releases, and much more. In addition, I have an abundance of contacts and am able to act as an agent/manager booking exhibitions, etc. Special rates are given to graduating students!

I have been teaching photography for 7 years. As an EDUCATOR, I’ve worked with college students, adults, and children in many venues. I enjoy teaching what I’ve excelled in as an artist; black and white film photography, art history, the art of REALLY seeing, and making connections (marketing) so that I could make a living doing what I love!!

Jennifer Julian
Biography

Jennifer Julian received a B.A. from Auburn University in 1986, but it was not until studying at the Art Institute of Atlanta that she became serious about her life as an artist. Her first break came in 1999 when Fay Gold Gallery of Atlanta showed her work at the prestigious Association of International Photography Art Dealers in New York City. She has had solo shows at Eyedrum Gallery, Georgia Perimeter College, Berry College, Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and LaGrange Art Museum. Her photographs are in many national public and private collections including, King & Spalding, Attorneys at Law, Cultural Arts Center, Douglasville, GA, Meriwether County Courthouse, Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, John Cleary Gallery, Mississippi Museum Art and Georgia Regional Hospital. Ms. Julian teaches Creative Photography and the Business of Photography at North Georgia College and State University. In addition, she enjoys teaching children and teens in many venues. In 2003, Felicia Feaster of Creative Loafing wrote that Ms. Julian’s work “speaks Proustian volumes about vulnerability and isolation”. More recently, the Durham, NC Herald-Sun wrote that her photographs “turn ostensibly simple poses into meditations on the ways women are literally or figuratively veiled, suppressed or unseen in society.” In 2006, Ms. Julian’s first book, “Path”, was published and in 2008 she looks forward to solo exhibitions at Carrollton Arts Center, Carrollton, GA and Mercer University, Atlanta, GA. Ms. Julian now lives and works in the north Georgia mountains.
